Their debut album is a timeless classic of late 60s psychedelia. You can almost smell the jossticks, or that might just be my copy! Released 6th June 1967, right into the belly of the Summer Of Love, Moby Grape made #24 in USA with this. I think everyone loves them. They had such great songs and arrangements. Omaha (a #88 single), for example is just a wonderful thing. However, the fact that for some silly reason the record company released 10 tracks from it, across 5 singles all released simultaneously, all of which sank without trace, didn't help their cause long term.  The next album Wow/Grape Jam would peak at #20 and be their high watermark. But their influence has washed down the generations.
